boudin sourdough bakery- fisherman’s wharf, SAN FRANCISCO
You certainly haven’t been to the SF pier if you don’t know where Boudin Sourdough Bakery & Cafe is. It’s one of those places where you’ll hear tourists miles away go “woo” and “ahh” over the turtle shaped sourdough breads on display. You’ve also probably seen a picture of those adorable edible critters in so-and-so’s Facebook album (and mine). Yup, Boudin Sourdough Bakery & Cafe has become a tourist attraction for their clam chowder in sourdough bread. Want something more than clam chowder and bread? Then head upstairs to the bistro overlooking the pier and indulge in some comforting West coast seafood.
