jethro’s fine grub- VANCOUVER
me and b had saturday brunch at jethro’s fine grub on dunbar.
la nina– grilled corn cake benedict with tex-mex chili, two poached eggs and smothered in hollandaise & served with hashbrowns ($12)
> the chili was too overpowering. we were hoping the eggs would steal the spotlight
pulled pork– slow roasted & served open faced with apple-fennel slaw on a warm bun ($10)
> really delicious. excellent bbq sauce, generous on the pork, and the meat was tender
+ parking was relatively easy. for a table of two at noon time the wait was only 5 minutes. the place is considered small with only a few tables, but the room is clean and doesn’t feel cramped. i would come back to try their pancakes which looks amazing!!
