pizzicotto- LOS ANGELES
A casual Italian joint in Brentwood with solid pasta. I came here with the boyfriend on a sunny Saturday, the only place we could find to satisfy our pasta craving at a late lunch hour. We were hesitant at first because he had previously come here before and wasn’t happy with his lobster pasta. Glad he gave it another try. Our pasta’s were generously portioned but still manageable and packed with flavor.

Complimentary Bread
Carried a hint of herb and was moist.

Tortellini stuffed with Porcini mushrooms and Ricotta (12.95)
Very delicious. The sauce really brought out the best of the mushrooms which reminds me why they are so tasty. The ricotta in the tortellini was subtle with cream and cheese so it wasn’t overbearing or too heavy. If there was one thing I could change? Home-made pasta’s for the win. Although, I do understand that this is not that type of restaurant.

Spinach ravioli with roasted garlic, arrugola, basil, fresh (12.95)
Nice but felt like it was missing something. Loved the tomato sauce.
Overall, we really enjoyed our pastas. All of them were cooked with fresh ingredients and were filled with a good amount of stuffing. I want to try their flat breads and pizzas next time because I’ve only heard good things about them!
