pho kim long- LAS VEGAS
It was time to give our credit cards a break! The boyfriend and I headed off the strip into Chinatown for some hearty Vietnamese food to cure our hangovers. A few friends have told me that Pho Kim Long is the place to go in Chinatown, and it’s conveniently only a 10-15 minute drive away from the strip. Surely a nice scenery change from all the hustle and bustle of a city that never sleeps.

Ample parking spaces.

YAY we’re here!

Combo Pho- beef and meat balls noodle soup ($7.95)
This cured my hangover. Tasty, soupy, and everything else you can ask for in a pho. Not sure if being hung over tipped my judgment here but all i can really remember was that it was satisfying.

Fried Garlic Chicken Wings
This dish visually resembles the fried chicken wings served at the Phnom Penh restaurant in Vancouver but the flavor doesn’t come close! It was crispy and all, but I was hoping for a stronger garlic taste and more seasoning. Yet, this seemed like a popular choice. It wasn’t bad… but people, you don’t know what real wings are unless you’ve had the wings at Phnom Penh!
Pho Kim Long, I will be back.
